Terms and conditions

The following are the conditions of use of the studios at Pyrmont Studio and form part of the contract between the client and Pyrmont Studio.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the demand on our studio spaces, all Studio Hire fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

STUDIO HIRE TIMINGS

All hire times are inclusive of bump in and bump out (which is inclusive of technical checks)

STUDIO HIRE HOLDS

We are unable to hold the studio without payment in full, due to the high demand of our studio spaces.

FURNITURE AND PROPS

The furniture in our office environment is not to be moved or borrowed without prior consent of the Studio Team. If you require storage for furniture and/or props for a regular show / production please ask one of our team for details and pricing.

PYRMONT STUDIO 1: SOUND PROOF CYCLORAM

  • Full day rates are based on a 10 hour working day from 8am - 6pm

  • Half day rates are based on a 5 hour period from either 8am - 1pm OR 1pm - 6pm

  • Overtime or Additional Hours are charged at $100 + gst p/ hour

  • 1x on site parking spot is included in Studio 1 hire rates.

  • Additional onsite parking are $30 +gst each.

  • Staff will be present to help wth bump in/out and reserve the right to check on the studio during the booking.

Studio Maintenance

We take great pride in our studio space, and we hope you do too. In the event that the white cyclorama is left in a bad condition and requires a repaint post you will be charged a fee of $150. In the event of any other damage, the cost of repair and/or replacement will be invoiced.

PYRMONT STUDIO 2: PODCAST STUDIO

  • Studio bookings are 2 hours or 4 hours.

  • 4K Sony cameras and Shure SM7B microphones are included with podcast stuio.

  • 2x Aputure 120d lights with softboxes included.

  • Overtime or Additional Hours are charged at $100 + gst p/ hour

  • 1x on site parking spot is included in the 4 hour studio hire.

  • Additional onsite parking are $30 +gst each.

  • Staff will be present to help wth bump in/out and reserve the right to check on the studio during the booking.

Studio Maintenance

Parking

  • Onsite parking can be arranged for $30 + gst per spot (please let us know in advance ).

  • Private garage access is at 100 Bulwara Road, Pyrmont.

  • There is also plenty of 2P Street Parking is available nearby.

PLEASE NOTE

Pyrmont Studio will not be held responsible for the loss or theft of property of any person using the studios, nor for any property lost by couriers in transit to or from the studios.

All care will be exercised by Pyrmont Studio in supervising the studios, however all clients are required to make appropriate arrangements to ensure their property is properly secure whilst using the facilities at Pyrmont Studio.

Clients leaving property in the studios, at reception or in the equipment room overnight do so at their own risk. Clients are expected to return all studio furniture to their normal position in the studio and leave the studio in the condition it was received. Failure to do so may result in loss of bond and also may incur additional charges.

Clients are advised to ensure that their insurance policy covers them whilst using the facilities at Pyrmont Studio, and that all their equipment is properly tagged and tested prior to use within the studio. Pyrmont Studio does not accept any responsibility for incidents that occur during or after the hire of the studios that are caused by the improper or misuse of the studios.
